Guests consistently praise Ysgubor Uchaf for its welcoming hosts, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation, and beautiful location on a working farm. The property's cleanliness, spaciousness, and proximity to local attractions, including beaches and coastal paths, are frequently highlighted. The farm animals add a unique charm, and the owners' hospitality contributes to a memorable stay.
Reviews overwhelmingly commend the property's cleanliness, with guests surprised by the high standards maintained on a working farm. One mention of dust behind a sofa suggests room for improvement, but overall, the cleanliness is rated very highly.
The property's location is highly praised for its tranquillity and proximity to beautiful beaches and local towns. It offers a balance of seclusion and accessibility to attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring South Wales and Pembrokeshire.
Guests find the property warm, cosy, and spacious, providing a comfortable environment for families and couples alike. The presence of amenities like a highchair and travel cot adds to the comfort for those with children.
The property is well-equipped with a great kitchen, entertainment options, and farm experiences. Some minor maintenance issues and the absence of a welcome pack in one instance suggest there is room for improvement in ensuring all facilities are consistently up to standard.
While the reviews reflect the owners' thoughtfulness in providing a welcoming and accommodating experience, there are no specific mentions of gifts. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that gifts will be provided, and the score is set to null due to insufficient information.
A superb semi-detached cottage near Newcastle Emlyn, set on a working livestock farm in peaceful and picturesque countryside. My family of five thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is luxurious with everything you need to be able to enjoy your holiday. The photoâs as good as they are donât emphasise what is far better in person. As an avid watcher of Clarkson and Harryâs Farm, it was a real treat for Mr Evanâs to take time out of his day and show my family and I around the farm. Moreover, we were provided with real insight into dairy and pig farming, and just how difficult farming has become under successive governments . Politicians, take note and visit a farm and youâll see how real and genuine the people are. A real asset to UK plc. A highly recommended holiday with so many local places to visit and eat, especially if you have National Trust access.
