The Powys Lodge is a short distance into the seaside resort of New Quay complete with a pretty harbour, coffee shops, restaurants, and a picture postcard beach ideal for swimming, relaxing or enjoying a stroll on the golden sands. A must for every visitor is a boat trip from the harbour around the bay for a closer encounter with the seals and dolphins that this area is famous for.
Take a trip north to the Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron with colourful houses, café and restaurants or head over to Penbryn Beach, a truly beautiful beach, for a day of sand, sea and hopefully sun! Whether you decide to explore this wonderful area on foot, by bicycle or by car, you are sure of a fun-filled day out with plenty to do for the whole family. Our stay was very enjoyable, the lodge had everything that one could ask for, we love the area. Our week there was very restful and a good place to recharge our batteries, thank you for a lovely stay.

The lodge was superb but for us the area wasn't what we anticipated. All beaches where no dogs and very hilly which as someone who is disabled meant I couldn't go very far,but that is something I should have looked into
