The firmness or otherwise of the mattress is very much a matter of personal preference, for us, double mattress ok, single not so (solved with a mattress topper). We found the electric heaters to be highly efficient, only needing to be set on low to maintain a pleasant temperature. In the lodge info pack, the suggested eating establishments for those with dogs were spot on. The joining instructions need to be updated as the pond is now hidden behind a fence, it may now be simpler to just say take the first left. Would we use this lodge again, yes.

No spare towels and two heaters not working. Second time we have stayed in this lodge but would not stay here again. We prefer your site at Heritage Park in Pembrokeshire.
