With superb furnishings and décor throughout, this fabulous stone cottage offers welcoming accommodation for families and friends wishing to explore the wondrous countryside and fascinating towns nearby.

The tasteful open-plan living area has everything that you will need from a stylish and fully equipped kitchen, to a social dining table and an alluring sitting area centred by a marvellous woodburning stove for those chillier evenings. The other two bedrooms include a twin and a single room, both are decorated in a peaceful and soothing manner. After an exhausting, adventure-filled day, spend some quiet time indulging in the superb Jacuzzi bath. Alternatively, stroll through the nearby fields where you will discover the ruins of a Roman fort and a silver/lead mine. Walks and cycling paths abound from the doorstep of the cottage, through country lanes or along the river. The nearby university town of Lampeter beckons for afternoon teas or a taste of local produce at the regular markets. Explore the idyllic Welsh coastline of Cardigan Bay, the pretty Regency harbour town of Aberaeron, sandy beaches such as New Quay and Llangrannog, castles, museums, old mills and craft centres - this remarkable location has something to suit all tastes. A heart-warming return for a holiday packed with scenery, exploration and adventure in this incredible part of Wales.

Lampeter is the smallest and oldest university town in Wales, and boasts a fine selection of small, locally-owned shops. It also boasts a museum, a patchwork quilt museum and has a wealth of unique tea rooms, pubs and restaurants, regular markets and a fine food festival.

It had all & more we could have wanted. There was delicious Welsh cakes freshly baked for us on our arrival & a basket with other lovely goodies. The welcome pack was very informative with everything you would need be it a Dr or a vet or a chippy to every day days out . The owners of the cottage were an absolute pleasure. Thank you Geraint & Iona

Very tastefully furnished & decorated throughout with everything you could wish for & made our stay very enjoyable & comfortable especially as the weather wasn't brilliant. I'd broke my foot at the beginning of September which meant we couldn't do as much walking as we normally would so we'd love to return & explore the beautiful walks a bit more. Iona & Geraint were the perfect hosts not only providing a substantial welcome pack but they also came to see us shortly after we arrived & had a lovely chat with us as we were leaving....two very lovely & friendly people. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a bit peace & quiet in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Dogs loved it too!
