The Stable in Lampeter offers a tranquil, rustic retreat with friendly owners and a range of amenities including a hot tub, games room, and farm experiences. Guests appreciate the clean, comfortable accommodation and the stunning views, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration of the Welsh countryside.
Reviews consistently mention the property being very clean, with spotless bedding and tidy surroundings. The high level of cleanliness contributes positively to the guests' experiences.
The property's remote, countryside setting is praised for its stunning views and tranquility, though some guests found it challenging to access and a bit far from amenities. The proximity to beaches and local towns is appreciated.
Guests find the cottage comfortable with a warm, rustic feel. However, some guests mentioned firm beds and a lack of stair gates for toddlers, which suggests room for improvement in comfort for all guests.
The hot tub, games room, and on-site farm activities are highlights, but some guests noted issues with maintenance, such as electrical problems and a dated games room. The presence of a secure garden and play area is a plus.
While guests express gratitude for the warm welcome and helpfulness of the owners, there is no mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score is set to null.

Location lovely however far from any amenities, there is a hotel / restaurant within walking distance just over 2 mile however very hilly when walking back . Andrew the owner helped us with a lift a number of times very kind of him. Nice hot tub & lovely warm property .

It is very near to a super cafe and National Trust property. I was disappointed that nobody introduced themselves at the property or checked to see if everything was ok while we were there. I would have appreciated some local information. The beds and sofas in the property were uncomfortable, particularly the double bed mattress. The quilt cover & pillow cases were100% polyester - not very pleasant to sleep in. There were no cereal or soup bowls and no microwave items. The microwave looked quite old, the timer dial was broken which lead to over cooked food. The games room was very tired, damp and dusty. We tried a game of pool but the table was warped. We were glad to come home to our own bed.
