Ty Rhys is a well-regarded cottage, praised for its comfortable beds, modern decor, and ideal placement for coastal activities. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches such as treats for both dogs and humans. While some find the wet room design and lounge lighting challenging, the property's cleanliness and the welcoming nature of the neighbours are consistently highlighted.
The majority of guests found the cottage to be clean and tidy, with only a few mentioning the need for additional cleaning in the kitchen. The positive remarks about cleanliness far outweigh the negatives.
The location is frequently described as peaceful and excellent for exploring the area, especially for dog walking and beach access. Some concerns were raised about adjacent derelict buildings, but these do not seem to detract significantly from the overall experience.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy. However, there are comments about the lack of seating in the lounge and the challenges posed by the wet room design, which affects the comfort level for some visitors.
The cottage is generally well-equipped, with a high standard kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Nonetheless, guests have suggested improvements such as better lighting, additional kitchen storage, and more seating. The wet room's design is noted as a drawback, and the lack of Wi-Fi is mentioned.
Many guests were delighted by the considerate gestures, such as providing milk, Welsh cakes, and dog treats upon arrival. These acts of kindness contribute positively to the guest experience, although it is important to note that such gifts are a bonus and not guaranteed.

Everything catered for at the cottage. The Welsh cakes, milk and dog food were much appreciated. Half hour walk to Aberporth beach was a bit tricky down the main road with no pavements for some of the way but found small shortcut along public country footpath from hotel grounds. Will definitely book this cottage again.

The cottage was lovely and really well equipped. Carys was really helpful and left a treat for us and our dog. I Would definitely recommend this cottage and would stay there again. The area was lovely and only 25 mins walk to the beach.
