This detached holiday cottage, lying in the coastal resort of St Dogmaels, is just a stone’s throw from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, making it a perfect base for a romantic getaway. The heart of St Dogmaels is on the doorstep with pubs, an historic abbey and walks along the River Teifi estuary to Poppit Sands. The city of St Davids has a cathedral and ruins of the Bishop’s Palace from the 12th century. Visit Tenby and take a boat trip to Caldey Island. For wildlife, take a sea safari to Skomer and Skokholm islands, home to puffins, razor bills and seals. Shop 200 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

A lovely cottage in a small village with a pub, shop & chip shop. The farmers market on Tuesdays is well worth a visit.The cottage was spotlessly clean and positioned perfectly to visit either the lovely beaches and towns / villages along Cardigan Bay or the Pembrokeshire coast to the south. Cardigan is about 1 mile away so walkable or five minutes in the car. Poppit Sands beach is also about a five minute drive and worth a visit.The owners live nearby and are very friendly and helpful. The cottage has everything you would need for everyday living and a large decked area which was quite a sun trap on the afternoons we sat out.We had a lovely relaxing week and will definitely be booking again.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here, a fantastic cottage with everything you need, and the location means we could walk to Poppit Sands and easy to get to other beaches, towns in the car.Would definitely recommend this cottage
