Nestled in Pen-y-bryn near the charming village of Cilgerran, Pembrokeshire is this lovely two-bedroom bungalow, Glynderi. Boasting all ground-floor accommodation, a well-equipped kitchen and close access to the local amenities, Glynderi is a fabulous base for a relaxing escape to South Wales; four guests are invited. Cross the threshold into your new abode, ready to kick back and relax in the homely sitting room, flicking on the Smart TV to relish some light entertainment as the electric fire roars away next to you. In the kitchen, rustle up a tasty meal for the whole family utilising a fantastic range of appliances before settling down at the dining table to tuck in over a bottle of fizz. If you prefer to dine alfresco, step outside into the enclosed garden and soak up your surroundings a little while longer. If you begin to tire, take a long soak in the bath before retreating to one of two delicately-appointed bedrooms including a super-king-size (zip/link, can be twin on request) and a king-size, to catch your rest. In the morning, begin your adventures at the National Trust owned Cilgerran Castle before enjoying an array of wildlife and nature at the Welsh Wildlife Centre; take a relaxing stroll along the Afon Teifi before stopping off at Cardigan Castle or St Dogmaels Abbey. For a relaxing day upon the sandy trails, spend the day along Traeth Mwnt or, Poppit Sands beach, an idyllic spot any time of year or test out your swing at Clwb Golff Aberteifi! You are also well-positioned here to venture to Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, offering an impressive array of walking, cycling, and hiking trails as well as Marloes Sands, Musselwick Beach and St Ann’s Head Lighthouse, all boasting stunning coastal views. Cilgerran is a delightful village with two pubs and a village store near to the popular market town of Cardigan. Situated above the Teifi Gorge, there are walks down to the river and the two castles; the National Trust’s Cilgerran Castle and the romantic ruins of the 13th century castle. Within walking distance are The Welsh Wildlife Centre and Teifi March Nature Reserve, providing fabulous trails along the stunning River Teifi and the chance to explore a rich variety of habitats and enjoy relaxing by the river. Nearby is the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Preselli Hills and the stunning coastline of Cardigan Bay.

It was so warm and welcoming and very spacious. Central to Cardigan town and surrounding beaches and lovely scenery. Best bit of all is there were no stairs , sheer bliss. Bridget .

The bungalow was very spacious, clean, comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The garden is large and private, lots of space for a dog to chase a ball or small children to play, and as we were so lucky with the weather we were able to eat all our meals outside, and enjoy the evening sun. Our one and only concern was that the garden is bordered by a dense hedge and fencing, but not enclosed as described. The path at the side of the property has no gate, therefore an adventurous dog (like our schnoodle), or small child could easily âescapeâ to the front of the bungalow, and then to the road! We did manage to block the path with pots etc from the garden for our stay, but a small side gate would make the garden secure. Having said that, Glynderi provides perfect accommodation with easy access to beaches, historical sites, and some lovely woodland walks in this beautiful part of Wales. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

It was really easy to find, instructions were perfect and we soon made ourselves at home. The living room was huge and had a lovely feel to it, a really well equipped kitchen that has every appliance you will ever need, that was perfect for breakfasts and family evening meals. Really good bathroom but could be more disabled friendly especially as itâs such a lovely bungalow. We loved the garden, a good size and well looked after, unfortunately it wasnât fully enclosed as our dog got out a couple of times when the neighbourhood cat paid a visit, it really needs a small gate at the side. The area was very quiet and just a really restful place to visit, Cardigan bay is really close by and so easy to get to.. less than 10 minutes on one of the days, For our dog, we went to Poppit sands for its beach adventures and it was so easy to get to from here, Overall.. we really enjoyed our stay.. and would love to stay again if we go down this way again. Keep up the good work.
