The surrounding area's beauty and local attractions add to the positive experience, despite some minor maintenance issues and occasional cleanliness oversights.

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and comfortable, with a few noting areas for improvement such as dust and hair on surfaces, and concerns about bed linen. Overall, the property is maintained to a satisfactory standard of cleanliness.

The location is frequently praised for its beauty and convenience for visiting local towns and attractions. The proximity to dog-friendly beaches and scenic walks contributes to the high rating.

Beautiful chalet site. Lots of chalets but a quiet site. Regarding listing, the outside decked area is not ideal for people with mobility issues. It's on 2 very different levels. Also the pebbles over the concrete path are dangerous.

The welcome gifts were appreciated. The living room chairs were very comfortable. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue. We were not convinced that the fitted sheet on the main bed was fresh, it had marks on it and was grey instead of white. It was certainly tired. The oven pans were really thick with grease and took some scrubbing before use. One pan had debris in it. The mattresses are cheap budget items with almost no material above the wire frame. We had to borrow two toppers from my son who has a place in Wales because the mattresses are so awful. It's a shame because a small investment in mattress toppers this would be fine. If the bed issue was fixed then we would recommend it as a budget holiday.

I was stung once, my dog stung twice and needed a vet. Shower attachment leaks badly. General level of maintenance poor. Kitchen pans poor.
