About this property

Carmarthen 4 miles. A charming timber-clad lodge situated on the owner's working livestock farm, close to Carmarthen and tucked away into heart-warming countryside, backed by open fields and converted barns. Designed with couples in mind, this retreat is cosy and snug, a perfect set up for those wanting to enjoy a romantic holiday, or a short break away from it all. Enter from the veranda, where you will be welcomed by an open-plan lounge, tied together with a woodburner effect fire and a comfortable L-shape sofa so you can simply relax and reminisce over the day's adventures. A modern kitchen lies to the back of the layout, complimented by black and white décor, a nice space to prepare those home-cooked meals before settling down in the warmth, watching TV. For a good night's sleep, the double bedroom is well-presented, decorated with a neutral theme, and accompanied by a front-facing view of the property's location. Conveniently, a classic shower room lies nearby for somewhere to get ready ahead of a fun-filled afternoon. Wander outside and take in the location when you find the time, a breath-taking spot to enjoy some well-earned rest. Take day trips to the golden sandy beaches and rocky coves of beautiful Carmarthen Bay, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park or the majestic Black Mountains. There is excellent walking, cycling, birdwatching, fishing and golf available, as well as many country parks just waiting to be explored.

The town of Carmarthen boasts the River Tywi, the ruins of a Norman castle, the site of a Roman amphitheatre, a museum containing Roman relics and shops, pubs and restaurants. Carmarthenshire boasts walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing, and golf, plus attractions include country parks, stream railways and castles. Carmarthen is in a superb location and the area has something for everyone.
