About this property

A former farm building converted into a semi-detached, split level cottage near Llanllwni Mountain, surrounded by undulating countryside in Mid Wales. There is a shower room on the lower ground floor, adjacent to a sitting room with a dining area, and a dog-leg stairway leads up a few steps to the upper ground floor kitchen, which in turn leads out to an enclosed courtyard garden. Upstairs, there is a comfortable double bedroom, a single bedroom and a separate basin and WC, making this a quirky, cosy get-away for three. Outside, sit and soak up the sounds of the countryside in your private, enclosed courtyard to the back, or let the kids stretch their legs on the shared lawn at the front. A wonderful getaway for couples and small families visiting Mid Wales. Note: This cottage is attached to Ref. 955181, together they sleep 9.

Llanllwni is a small village community in Carmarthenshire, on the main Carmarthen to Lampeter road. Set on the edge of the Llanllwni Mountain, with stunning heathland and a large area of common land home to grazing ponies, the area enjoys fantastic views across Carmarthenshire, sloping down into the Brechfa Forest and Cothi River valley.

On our arrival we were greeted by Rupert and Sue which was lovely they made us feel so welcome. The cottage was lovely, so clean and comfortable far more than we expected. We hope to return in the future.

It is a fairly remote location down some lanes.

The lovely cottage had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless. I know this because I went all around the cottage wiping with anti-bac spray because we were concerned in the current Covid pandemic and my cloth was totally clean after!
