About this property

One of three lovely converted barns with views over the beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside, this really is a great location for exploring mid and west Wales and this charming, holiday home make a perfect base.

You can enjoy a fabulous woodland walk from the front door or go and say hello to the rare breed sheep the owner's breed. Golden Grove village and its pub, is about 1 mile from the cottages along narrow lanes.

Llandeilo is about three miles away in the heart of the Towy Valley and has an interesting selection of individual shops, galleries, pubs, delicatessens and eateries.

Carmarthenshire is home to the National Botanic Garden of Wales and Aberglasney - a garden lost in time, both about 2 miles away. Carmarthen town is well worth a look around too. The Gower Peninsula is about 25 miles and there are some wonderful beaches there with great surfing, including Three Cliffs Bay. The Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park also make an excellent day trip.

Llandeilo in picturesque Carmarthenshire, sits proudly on a hill above the River Tywi, the longest river that flows entirely through Wales. This pretty market town has a lovely selection of unusual gift shops, eating places and pubs, whilst visits to the medieval Dinefwr and Carreg Cennen Castles add to the charm. A short drive away is the scenic Brecon Beacons National Park, and the upland landscapes of the Carmarthenshire Fans and Black Mountains are a walker's delight. The beautiful sandy beaches and cliff walks of the Gower Peninsula, plus the ever popular Pembrokeshire coastline are not too far away. This is the ideal location for family holidays at any time of year.
