Head to this beautiful Welsh property and marvel at the abundance of exploring there is to do. 21 miles from your door is the National Botanic Garden of Wales or stay closer to home and make the 11 mile journey to the Dinas rspb Nature Reserve or the 12 mile journey to Crychan Forest where a host of mountain bike and walking trails are waiting to be explored. Enjoy spending time out and about and look forward to returning home to the comforts of the lodge. Enter this glorious dwelling and admire all of the quirk and character it has to offer. Largely open plan the downstairs floor is great for spending time together as a family as the wood burner throws heat into the space. The lobby is a great spot for muddy boots and outdoor coats to reside throughout your stay. Local works of art adorn the walls in the sitting room where comfortable sofas invite you to unwind and switch on the TV. For livelier evenings challenge fellow guests to a game of table football or choose from a whole host of exciting board games. The beautifully spacious kitchen/diner has ample work and storage space so you can rustle up delicious feasts with ease and dine in style at the table where views of the garden can be admired. There is a downstairs toilet for convenience but head up the first floor to find the family bathroom. Four bedrooms invite eight guests to rest their heads and find some peace and quiet. The king size with en suite wet room, double with en suite wet room, double and a bunk room are all decorated simply with calming tones so you can wake up feeling fresh and ready for the day ahead. Head out onto the large lawn and bask in the sunshine before sitting on the terrace with a glass of something cold. The herbaceous borders line the garden and are full of native plants and herbs. The wildlife pond is a great feature but please take care as it is unfenced. Keep your bikes safe in the lockable shed and make the most of the parking for three cars.
