Set in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with views over the Taf Estuary and Gower Peninsula and surrounded by mountains, lush green landscapes and secluded ancient forests criss-crossed by walking trails, the redeveloped resort of Dylan Coastal Resort and Milk Wood House has been awarded Made for Mums bronze award for family friendly holidays. This area is famous for its long stretches of unspoilt golden sands, with some of the best family-friendly beaches, coastal paths and birdwatching in Britain. It’s little wonder that Carmarthenshire has inspired so many artists, poets and writers, including Dylan Thomas, who lived in the ancient estuary township of Laugharne nearby.
