Guests say

Typicca Farmhouse offers a spacious, peaceful retreat in the Carmarthen countryside, ideal for families and those seeking a rural escape. Guests praise its cosy atmosphere, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds, with many enjoying the log burner and scenic surroundings. The property is well located for exploring local towns and beaches, and the host is frequently described as friendly and responsive. While most found the house clean and welcoming, a few noted minor maintenance and cleanliness issues. Overall, the farmhouse provides a charming, authentic Welsh experience with plenty of character.

Most guests found the farmhouse clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and well-presented rooms. However, a small number of reviews mentioned issues such as unwashed crockery, some clutter, and isolated reports of mould, which slightly lowered the overall impression.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, rural charm, and proximity to Carmarthen, Llandeilo, and local beaches. Guests appreciated the peaceful countryside setting, though a car is recommended for convenience.

Guests consistently commented on the spaciousness, comfortable beds, and cosy lounge, especially with the log burner. Some noted the house could be cold at times, but extra blankets and bedding were available.

The farmhouse is generally well-equipped, with a secure garden and ample parking. Some guests reported minor maintenance issues such as a faulty fridge door, a broken toilet, and suggestions for improved cookware and safety checks, but these did not detract significantly from most stays.

Several guests appreciated thoughtful touches such as welcome packs, sweets for children, a lit fire on arrival, and birthday decorations. Please note that such gifts or extras are not guaranteed for every stay.

We really loved our stay, the location was great just 30 minutes drive from the beach. Log burner was perfect for the cooler evenings, the house was lovely and clean. Our daughter loved having the cows right next to the house too.
