As the sun sets, catch some rest from one of two bedrooms on offer, including a king-size and a twin; both benefit from en-suite shower rooms for convenience. Once you're prepared and ready to explore, reach the National Botanic Garden of Wales, a very popular attraction in the area, also set near The British Bird of Prey Centre, a family favourite, and the National Trust - Paxton's Tower, which you can hike up to for a wonderful vantage point. Head into Carmarthen for your nearest hub of shops, pubs, and eateries, where you can also tour the Amgueddfa Sir Gâr - Carmarthenshire Museum, board the Gwili Steam Railway, also offering on-board experiences, and discover the magnificent grounds of Carmarthen Castle.     Well equipped but both shower rooms and cloakroom in need of updating.

    Everything we needed to cook etc was provided,although we could have done with an airer to dry our muddy walking socks & washing. We were able to see the Milky Way as there is no light pollution - wonderful!
