Make your way through to the open-plan living space, where you can impress your loved ones with tasty home-cooked dishes, prepared in the well-equipped kitchen and ready to enjoy at the dining table for four over a bottle of wine. After dinner, you can take advantage of the second sitting area with inviting sofa and TV or take in the stunning panoramic views on offer out in the rear, enclosed garden, whilst your dog and little ones run and play. Completing the ground floor, is a well-appointed shower room where you can freshen up after a day of adventure. Climb the stairs up to the first floor, where you can choose from two tastefully decorated bedrooms, a double and a twin, both of which are served by a gleaming bathroom, perfect for relaxing soaks with your favourite book. For your local amenities, head into the bustling town of Carmarthen, where you can treat your loved ones to a variety of different cuisines, including Japanese at Japanese Sun, steak at Dexters, Italian at Florentino’s or pub classics at The Mansel Arms. Soak up the local history at the Carmarthenshire Museum in Abergwili, step back in time on the Gwili Steam Railway or practise your swing out at Carmarthen Golf Club. An absolute must is a visit to the incredible National Botanical Garden of Wales which is just a short drive away, where you can explore the wooded areas of formal gardens along with the enormous tropical glasshouse, which houses a wide diversity of plant species. Continue on towards Llanelli, calling in at the impressive castle in Kidwelly and if you're in luck, catch the races down at Ffoslas Racecourse! Nature-lovers may wish to visit the WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre and walk down the coast to take in the stunning vistas along the all-Wales Coast Path and make sure to pay a visit and enjoy a leisurely time at Pembrey Country Park during your holiday out west. Further afield is the Gower Peninsula with stunning coastal beaches in the UKs first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or head towards Tenby, where you can take a stroll around its historic walled centre before cooling off with a day at one of its four beaches (or two, at low tide!). Adventure awaits with a stay at Swn Y Gwynt.

While Carmarthen is on a river's bank overlooking the River Tywi and is home to numerous historical landmarks, it is also home to a number of excellent restaurants and stores. Carmarthenshire, Wales' 'Garden County,' is home to a diverse choice of activities because to its stunning coastline and landscape. There are numerous country parks, display caverns, gold mines, steam railways, and castles to visit, as well as superb hiking, cycling, birdwatching, fishing, and golfing opportunities.

Carmarthen Bay, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, and the Black Mountains are all within a day's drive from the city.
