Laugharne 2.6 miles. Resting on the outskirts of the pretty town of Laugharne on the south coast of Camarthenshire, is this attractive, stone-built cottage, Little Brook Cottage. Set on a working farm but enjoying its own private grounds, Little Brook Cottage has everything you want for a quiet break to the countryside. Discover the delightful sitting room, featuring two settees and an inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove to curl up beside during those bitter winter nights. Wander on through into the kitchen, well-appointed with a selection of appliances, and hosting a dining table where you can enjoy family meals. There are two bedrooms to choose from, including a king-size double and twin which is zip/link for added flexibility. To the outside is an enclosed front garden where you can sit back with a drink whilst the watching the cows bob their head over the fence. The town of Laugharne is full of history and culture, as well as boasting an array of gift shops and tea rooms, and a local pub and mini market. Walkers can take advantage of the breath-taking Pembrokeshire coastal path which is close to the property, providing trails routes across towering clifftops and golden beaches, which can be enjoyed alongside your canine companion. Why not take a day to visit the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot, which are within just a short drive? Little Brook Cottage is the perfect retreat for a memorable family holiday, whatever time of year.
Laugharne, is well-known for it's association with the poet Dylan Thomas, with a visit to his Boat House and the writing shed being a wonderful experience. Beautiful walks in and around the castle, can be followed by cream teas in quaint little tea rooms, a drink in the local pub or shopping in the gift shops.The nearby sandy beach at Pendine has seven miles of beautiful flat sand, and a little further afield are the seaside resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot. With walks in all directions, great days out galore, this is a perfect base for all the family, at any time of the year.

It was beautifully presented and set in a tranquil location. The children loved exploring and having their own space. My husband and I appreciated the cleanliness and well equipped accommodation. The fire was a perfect extra and the supplied goodies were welcomed by all. Thank you for allowing us to visit, we would highly recommend this cottage to others.
