The lodge features two bedrooms, including a king-size with its own en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, alongside a twin room that works well for families or friends. A separate bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC completes the layout.

Outside, the enclosed decking with seating provides a pleasant spot to sit out and make the most of the fresh air, while off-road parking for two cars keeps things straightforward. A highchair and travel cot are available on request, and one well-behaved pet is welcome to join. With a shop nearby and a pub within easy reach, the essentials are close at hand. From the doorstep, Pendine Sands offers a sweeping stretch of beach, perfect for long walks and big sea views. Within driving distance, Tenby draws visitors with its colourful harbour and sandy bays, while the literary village of Laugharne is home to the historic Laugharne Castle.

Nature lovers can explore the peaceful surroundings of Colby Woodland Garden or follow stretches of the Wales Coast Path. Dukes Meadow makes a solid base for enjoying this scenic corner of Carmarthenshire.

A delightful seaside village with a seven mile stretch of sandy beach, famous in its history for car racing and speed record attempts. Steeped in history, these sands are perfect all year round, whether sunbathing, swimming and kite flying. With local pubs and restaurants serving good food, a café, a grocery shop and gift shops, Pendine is the perfect seaside village. Pendine is also home to the recently built Land of Speeds Museum, which can be found on Pendine Promenade; the land speed record was actually broken on Pendine's beach, too! Nearby, the attractions range from Dylan Thomas' famous boathouse, where he penned so many of his literary masterpieces, castles, more sandy beaches, hidden coves and the vibrant seaside resort of Tenby, with Caldey Island and the majestic monastery a short boat trip away. A stunning location for exploring this beautiful part of Wales.
