About this property

Llandeilo 8 miles.

In a row of just four detached lodges, in a secluded wooded area in Pantglas Hall - Holiday Lodges and Leisure Club, Llanfynydd near Llandeilo, this charming holiday lodge offers a perfect peaceful spot to relax and unwind.

A wonderful holiday base all year round, guests can sit out on the veranda or the balcony together, sipping a drink, or watching TV beside the warming woodburner. Newly installed BT Broadband will keep you connected ..if you want!

The comfortable accommodation is both spacious and very well equipped, so all ages will enjoy time in the open plan living space or in one of the bedrooms.

With a breakfast table in the recently renovated kitchen area and a larger dining table in the sitting area, meals together will be a time to enjoy each other's company.

A ground floor bedroom and newly fitted bathroom also offers guests with limited mobility an enjoyable holiday, and the two other bedrooms offer great variation for all ages, and share a bathroom.

Looking out from the lodge, you will see the beautifully converted stone coach house, which is within a three-minute walk and houses a cafe/pub (which also offers basic provisions), a licensed restaurant, a delightful children's play room, a pool/darts room, snooker room and a table tennis room, as well as a picturesque open courtyard with seating.

Just below this beautiful setting is a bridge over a small river, which offers far-reaching countryside views.

Wandering through the park, up wooden steps through the trees, takes you to the leisure complex where a heated swimming pool, a hot tub, sauna and fully-equipped gym open all year round, and for outdoor fun there are two all-weather tennis courts, a crazy golf course, a children's play area and a small football area.

With such extensive facilities on hand, your holiday will be a pleasure without leaving the complex, but a short drive away takes you to the spectacular Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) or the equally scenic Welsh coastline.

Days out at nature reserves, exploring historic castles or maybe some retail therapy can be ended with an evening swim or choose a challenge at one of the other games on-site.

A perfect family destination all year round.

The market town of Llandeilo is situated on a hill, above the River Tywi, and offers a selection of gift shops, eating places and pubs, as well as the medieval Dinefwr and Carreg Cennen Castles. Close by are the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons), the Carmarthenshire Fans and Black Mountains.

Rosemary is a sweet hostess, helpful & considerate. The children liked having lots of dvd's to choose from. It was like coming into a real home, friendly & comforable. Reminded me of our cabin in the woods back home in America. The weather was quite chilly and it even snowed on the last day, so it was fun to have board games to play and a well-equipped kitchen to make home-cooked meals.
