The cottage is tucked away on a smallholding just a short drive away from the village of Cwmduad. The cottage benefits from being off grid and uses green electricity which is generated using a mixture of solar and hydro technology. The cottage has direct access to the Nantgronw Horse Trails which can be enjoyed on foot. The bustling market town of Carmarthen is just 11 miles away and has an impressive high street and an indoor market plus an array of restaurants and bars, a multiplex cinema and a bowling alley. If arts and culture are more your thing, then why not check out the local galleries and museums? It is well placed for exploring the fantastic coastline and attractions of Carmarthenshire. Beautiful Llansteffan, with imposing castle, sandy beach and seaside shop is just a 20 mile drive as well as the National Botanic Garden of Wales is a must, for all nature lovers. Why not head west to explore some of Wales' most breath taking coastlines around Cardigan Bay, including the beaches and coves at Mwnt and Aberporth (25 miles), which can also offer the most splendid sunsets and may just spot a dolphin or two. Visit Aberaeron a colourful Georgian town, with independent shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs, pretty harbour and the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby are slightly further afield but within easy reach in the car, including that of Burry Port and Ferryside. As you enter the cottage, you are welcomed into the open plan kitchen/diner, the kitchen is equipped with a gas oven and hob, a microwave and a fridge/freezer. Prepare a hearty breakfast before heading out for a day of exploring or rustle up a simple supper to enjoy around the dining table while planning your next adventure. Just off the kitchen/diner, you will find the cosy snug complete with a comfortable sofa surrounding the TV and a wood burner. It is the perfect spot to curl up at the end of the day and watch a movie, read a book, or simply enjoy a glass of wine in front of the fire. Head up the stairs onto the first floor; you'll find the master bedroom in the eaves of the cottage, with a king size bed and plenty of storage for clothes and belongings. The en suite bathroom has a beautiful roll top bath and a WC. Externally, the cottage benefits from a beautiful decking area, complete with seating and a charcoal BBQ. Enjoy an evening dining alfresco, in total privacy, looking out over the nearby stream and countryside. With zero light pollution, the decking provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy some stargazing. There is courtyard parking for two cars outside the property on a gravel drive. Need to know: 1 king size bedroom. 1 en suite bathroom with roll top bath and WC. Gas oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Smart TV in the lounge. Decked garden area with seating and a charcoal BBQ. Off road parking for 2 cars. Pub 4 miles and shop 3 miles.
