This secluded cottage is set in idyllic countryside just over 2 miles off the main A40 route between Carmarthen and Llandeilo. There are plenty of walks in all directions to enjoy straight from the front door. Venture into Llandeilo, just 8 miles away, and discover its range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The county town of Carmarthen can be reached in 9 miles, where you will find a bustling high street, local market, restaurants and a cinema. If you like castles, Carmarthenshire has many sites to choose from; why not visit nearby Dinefwr Castle and Newton House, which can be reached within 9 miles, and explore the grounds and their history? As you enter the cottage you are welcomed into a large entrance hall which has been utilised as an office and reading space ideal for workations. Through the hall, you enter the lounge with a wonderful wood burner. Light up the fire and relax on one of the large, comfortable sofas whilst watching a film on the Smart TV. Just off the lounge, there are four separate staircases leading to the each of the three bedrooms and the bathroom. There are two double bedrooms with ample storage space for belongings, and the third bedroom has a junior single bed and a day bed, plus a cot. This room is ideally suited to children due to the smaller beds. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC. Just off the main lounge area, up a few steps, is the dining area. There is a table to comfortably seat six, plus views over the garden where you can enjoy your meals or simply take a moment to have a coffee and plan out your day. Just off the dining room is the kitchen, equipped with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, an electric oven and hob, including a microwave. To complete the property, there is a useful utility room with a washer/dryer. To the rear of the property is an enclosed garden laid to lawn, with garden furniture provided. Enjoy a meal alfresco or simply unwind at the end of a long day with a cold drink. The cottage is nestled deep in the countryside, with no noise other than birds and the occasional farm vehicle a perfect spot to unwind. To the front of the property, there is driveway parking for one car, and additional parking is available in front of the owner's house.
