Perfect for dog walkers, the property is close to the Sirhowy River, as well as a selection of golf courses and nature reserves. Travel to Blackwood to enjoy a tasty meal at one of the local pubs or eateries, and you can stock up on essentials at one of the convenience stores before heading out to explore the local countryside. There are a selection of historic sites scattered about the location, including Winding House and Big Pit National Coal Museum, and guests can head over to Cardiff or Newport for a day beside the coast. Merthyr Tydfil is a lovely riverside town with the fantastic Cyfarthfa Castle Museum and Art Gallery and Taf Fechan Nature Reserve for guests to explore, and there is also the option of visiting the historic Morlais Castle and golf course. Explore the wonders of the breath-taking Bannau Brycheiniog National Park either with a scenic hike, mountain biking or via the wonderful Brecon Mountain Railway, which takes guests through a variety of stunning locations, for example Pentwyn Reservoir, and stopping at Torpantau railway station.
