About this property

A well-presented detached bungalow within easy access of Trearddur Bay on the Isle of Anglesey. Set in a private, secluded location, half a mile from the popular beach and amenities of Trearddur Bay, makes this a perfect place for a family holiday or a get together with a few friends. On entering the cottage, you will notice the high standard of furnishing throughout giving a lovely contemporary feel. There are three bedrooms leading off the hallway, with a family bathroom. The L-shaped kitchen is bright and airy and has everything needed to cook those home-cooked meals, even with a small dining table, making it a delightful place to socialise or plan your day’s activities over breakfast. The spacious sitting room is light and bright with dual aspect windows, giving lovely views across the open fields. There is plenty of comfy seating with a multi-fuel stove making a great place to relax after a full day out and about. This then leads you into a good-sized conservatory which houses a lovely dining table and even a small sofa, making it an ideal place to relax with a good book. To the back of the cottage is a large lawned garden which is partly enclosed and secluded with excellent views down to the bay and possibly to the sea on clear days. There is a good-sized decking area with furniture as well as access to the fantastic hot tub. Cafés, restaurants, shops and pubs are only a short walk away from this lovely Trearddur Bay cottage, while the local golf club, birdwatching and cliff walks at South Stack Lighthouse are easily accessible. Why not take a trip to the lovely local beach just a 5 minute walk way or for a change try one of the other beaches on the island? For a good day out, NT's Plas Newydd and Beaumaris Castle are on the island. Alternatively, discover Snowdonia, Conwy and Caernarfon Castles, a little further afield. Set in a wonderful area with easy access to local amenities, Pen Y Graig will make a superb base for a great holiday at any time of the year.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches. Watersports, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse rspb Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore.

Comfortable beds we all slept like babies. The addition of the new bathroom with walk in shower was great for my dad who’s 79. The hot tub is fab nice to relax after a day out walking the beaches of Anglesey. The only negative point I could make was the dryer part of the washer wasn’t working 100%. We managed to get a drying day on the line. This however wouldn’t put me of coming as not all places have that facility anyway - all in all this cottage is one of the best ( if not the best) we have stayed in on Anglesey and no doubt we will be looking to book again soon.

Everything is extremely well organised and the property is well equipped. My family and I had a fabulous time and we will definitely book again.

10min walk to beach. Hot tub a plus. Would benefit from an outside light at rear as access to hot tub is a little dark and the decking is a little slippy at times. Overall lovely, would definitely go back
