About this property

Cyndal Bach is a traditional Welsh stone holiday cottage that has retained much of its original character. The sage green door is a welcoming sight as you drive up to the cottage. It’s cosy and welcoming inside with a pretty, sunny and private garden outside. There are walks from your front door, but equally you could have a relaxing break and never leave!

The simple kitchen offers an oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave and toaster.

In the sitting room there’s an original beamed ceiling as well as an inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. Set around the woodburner are a sofa and chairs with a TV and DVD and CD players, as well as books. In the corner is a dining table with three chairs.

The bathroom is located on the ground floor with large shower cubicle, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel rail.

The bedrooms are upstairs via an original, steep cottage staircase that’s located in the lounge. The main bedroom has a double bed that can be separated into twin beds by prior request. You access this bedroom via the single room that has a 2'6" single bed and space for a cot.

At the back of the holiday cottage is a gorgeous private garden where you can sit outside in the sunshine with your morning cuppa, or glass of wine come the evening. There is also parking available.

Cyndal Bach is located on the western coast of Anglesey and it’s not far from the seaside village of Rhoscolyn. In fact, you’re very close to a great beach! There’s also a cracking gastropub within walking distance if you head across the beach called The White Eagle. Further afield are some of Anglesey’s finest things to see and do as well as great places to eat and drink. Cyndal Bach is a holiday cottage nestled in an Area of Natural Outstanding Beauty so there is plenty of wildlife and scenery to enjoy. Whatever sort of holiday you’re looking for on Anglesey, Cyndal Bach will make a great base for it!

The beds will be made made up as advertised, if you would like a different bed configuration please contact Menai Holidays 7 days before your arrival.

Located on Holy Island, three miles from Trearddur Bay, Rhoscolyn is a small village with a church and primary school and is the most southerly place on Holy Island. Rhoscolyn also offers an excellent pub on the lane down to the beach, which is renowned for its gastro food, and the beach itself with its slipway, ideal for small dinghies and power boats, is a popular family destination throughout the summer owing to the sheltered cove and gently sloping sands. Also excellent cliff-top walks can be enjoyed and an abundance of wildlife can be seen, often including seals on the headland. Just two miles away is the village of Valley, which has a Post Office, chemist, shops and eating places, plus the nearby resort of Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of the island and is truly beautiful with a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine Blue Flag sandy beaches. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, supermarkets, harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. Watersports, bathing, sailing, windsurfing and horse riding are the main activities in the summer months, plus golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course, and the area is also a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse rspb Reserve. An excellent location with plenty to see and do!
