    About this property

    Pentraeth 1.5 miles.
This lovely ground floor Pentraeth cottage is located just 4 miles from the superb beaches at Llanddona and Red Wharf Bay. This Pentraeth cottage has an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen and a comfy sitting area. With views over the fields to rolling countryside and a decked area with a barbecue, this Pentraeth cottage is ideal for a small family or a group of friends. A superb Pentraeth cottage for a holiday, no matter what time of year you visit. Note: This property is next to Refs. 9873 and 9874 and together they accommodate 15 people.

Pentraeth is a small attractive village on the banks of the River Nodwydd on the north-east coast of Anglesey. It has a village church that dates back to the 12th century and is located between Llanddona beach and Red Wharf Bay, which has over 4.5 miles of sandy beach. Red Wharf Bay’s Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and provides safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. The large bay attracts a huge number of waterfowl and wading birds, including shell duck, grey plover, purple sandpipers, curlew, oystercatchers and dunlin. Only 6 miles away is the delightful medieval town of Beaumaris which boasts a 13th century moated castle, excellent shops, pubs, restaurants, bistros and museums, as well as a golf course and exciting pleasure boat and sea fishing trips. This is a great location on the east coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, yet only six minutes from the Britannia Bridge to access the mainland.

"3 cottages in a row, we had number 3 ,large living room /kitchen double bedroom with en suite shower room, twin room with en suite bathroom, loads of parking space, patio door to decking area, very large garden area to the rear with swings, slide and trampoline. The owners came to show us round and told us if we needed anything to go to the house at the end of the cottages as they are there, they were very helpful. We was both ill and the weather was awful, but we loved the place. I will recommend the cottages to everyone. You could rent all the cottages, if a group of people was going, or like us we just had the one cottage, which is for up to 4 people. Another family came in on the Wednesday, but we never herd them at all. Nice and peaceful place"
    - Mr Cardwell, September 2016
"wi-fi advertised but cottage was too far from the hub to work....disappointing, also no instructions on any re-cycling for newspapers etc otherwise was fine."
    - Mrs Hare, October 2016
"This cottage gave us all that we had hoped for: quiet location but easy access to mainland as well as island destinations, good facilities well laid out, spotlessly clean, well heated and comfortable. We very much appreciated Mr Hughes' helpful attitude. Honestly presented, no.3, Black Horse Cottages was spot on for me and my elderly mother, although it would also have been good for children. I would certainly recommend it."
    - Mrs Rabbitt, November 2016

    - Rozzy1973, November 2016
"We stayed here in November 2016, we booked this specific cottages as it was pet friendly and we took our dog. We stopped in no 1 with 2 bedrooms, loads of room for everything, It's situated for everything, as we did go walking, went to the beach at Rhosneigr which took about 20 mins. The wildlife is fab even around the cottage. The lady who owned them was very friendly and helpful. Will be going back again."
