Guests have enjoyed their stays at Llys y Graig, praising its peaceful setting, proximity to the beach, and spaciousness suitable for large family groups and pets. The property's character and homely feel, alongside a secure garden and ample parking, have been appreciated. A few minor maintenance issues were noted but did not significantly detract from the overall positive experiences.
The property was generally described as clean and tidy. However, one review mentioned that the upstairs could have been cleaner, with some dust and insects present. This suggests room for improvement, but overall, the cleanliness seems satisfactory.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, privacy, and easy access to the beach and local amenities. It is also close to nature reserves and tourist spots, making it an ideal setting for holidaymakers.
The reviews highlight the property's comfortable seating, beds, and spacious living areas. The presence of a large lounge and kitchen for socialising contributes to the comfort level experienced by guests.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a functional kitchen and good heating. However, some reviews noted issues with a bathtub, a dryer, and general maintenance, indicating that while facilities are adequate, there is room for improvement.
The owner's prompt responses and immediate action to resolve issues demonstrate thoughtfulness. A welcome basket and stocked fridge were mentioned, which are kind gestures, though such gifts should not be expected with every stay.

On Anglesey's north-eastern shore, a little, charming village called Pentraeth may be found by the banks of the River Nodwydd. It is situated between Llanddona beach and Red Wharf Bay, which offers more than 4.5 miles of sandy coastline, and features a town chapel that goes back to the 12th century. The Welsh name for Red Wharf Bay is Traeth Coch (Red Beach), and it is well known for its spectacular sunsets. The bay is ideal for excellent family fun, fishing, and miles of breathtakingly beautiful scenic walks because it is quite shallow and offers safe bathing. Numerous wading and waterfowl species, such as shell duck, grey plover, purple sandpipers, curlew, oystercatchers, and dunlin, are drawn to the enormous bay.

Lots of space in the living room and bedrooms with comfy beds. Great having two large dining tables adjoining kitchen with a back entrance leading to utility corridor for coats wellies boots etc and storing dog towels food etc. Heating excellent and always lots of hot water always available. It is a beautiful location with a short walk to the beach which is excellent for dog walking and looks across the estuary to the Ship Inn which you can walk to or is a 10 mins drive. There are some beautiful nature sites close by all allow dogs, Nant y Pandy nature reserve with it's numerous red squirrels, Moelfre with it's RNLI museum, Penmon Point beautiful views with it's lighthouse and New borough beach with a huge woods directly behind miles of sandy beach and of course the amazing Plas Newyd. Also plenty of indoor tourist spot for wetter days. Shops nearby and retail park with the big supermarkets etc 15 mins drive. We absolutely loved our stay at llys y Craig and will return. Thankyou Jane for our welcome especially the cake and for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Thereâs easily enough parking for 4/5 cars outside the house. Inside the huge living room was great fun, loads of settees and chairs & an old school piano the kids loved! The bedrooms are large & comfortable. The bathrooms are nice & clean and plenty of hot water. The large kitchen with separate pantry, dated but very functional and well stocked, lots of storage room. The owner kindly allowed us an early check in which is always a big bonus. All in itâs a lovely old mansion with lots of character only 300 yards to the shore at Pentraeth with friendly neighbours who where welcoming.
