Grey Cottage is praised for its stunning views, spaciousness, and tranquil location near the beach. Guests appreciate the welcome pack and find the property comfortable and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. Some maintenance issues are noted, but the charm and setting of the cottage often outweigh these concerns.
The cottage generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with a few guests noting areas for improvement such as cobwebs and dust. The housekeeper is complimented for her efforts, indicating a good standard of cleanliness overall.
The location is highly praised for its quiet setting, proximity to the beach, and beautiful views. It is considered perfect for exploring Anglesey and enjoying the local area, contributing to a very high satisfaction rate.
Guests find the cottage roomy and comfortable, with multiple lounges and a conservatory providing ample space. Comfortable new sofas and a wood burner add to the cosy atmosphere, although some guests mention the need for maintenance.
While the cottage is well-equipped, several reviews mention maintenance issues such as door handles and uneven patios. These issues suggest that while facilities are adequate, there is room for improvement in this area.
The welcome pack with treats like Bara Brith cake is frequently mentioned and appreciated by guests, reflecting a thoughtful touch by the hosts. However, it is politely noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Grey Cottage was not as described on Website - stated on Ground Floor there is a Bathroom with Bath & Shower over the Bath & Toilet - this was actually located Upstairs - on Ground Floor there was only a Shower Room & Toilet - We chose this Cottage because of Ground Floor facilities stated - Bedroom & Bathroom - very misleadingGrey Cottage is also requiring Maintenance inside and out - Internal Doors do not close properly / Internal Conservatory Door Handle is broken (previously reported by past Visitors) and Outside Patio is uneven and unsafe. Only 1 of the many outside lights work, (at the side of the Cottage). Also Cooking Trays badly need replacing (We were ok as We always fetch Our own).On a positive the Views are amazing and the Cottage, with a little TLC, could also be.

What a beautiful clean comfortable roomy cottage!Just don’t try booking through VRBO.Cottages.com came to the rescue.Everything was perfect. There was just the two of us and I will bring the family here. With two bathrooms and a downstairs loo, everyone would have plenty of space. The conservatory, two lounges and large kitchen/diner meant that no matter what the weather, would ensure we weren’t bumping into each other. We are familiar with the area and there is lots of information on where to visit/ eat out.The weather was not kind that week, cold and stormy. That didn’t bother us as it was a few days of peace, enjoying the wood burner and comfort. Thanks for the welcome pack of bars brith, butter and milk. Debbie the housekeeper does a fantastic job.We will return
