Fishing is permitted with the relevant license and there is carp of various sizes in the lakes. This is not advertised as it is not a fishery, but guests are able to fish from their lodge if there is decking on the lake or on common areas around the lake. All fish must be returned and there is no charge.
Group Bookings/Party Types:
Infants must be included in the party total. The site does not allow group bookings, stag or hen parties.
Facilities
Pamper Packs consist of Champagne, fresh flowers, chocolates and use of bathrobes.

Absolutely surpased our expectations! We didnt want to leave honestly. Incredibly beautiful setting, the lodge itself felt like we were really staying somewhere special. There was so so much provided as well that we were not expecting. Absolutely beautiful lodges. So incredibly peaceful there, it felt like a total reset. Being right on the lake as well we got to experience so much nature. Saw huge fish in the lake, beautiful birds that were so relaxing to watch, loved the stormy nights in the lodge. It really felt so cosy and special. We have said 100% we would love to return. Communication with hosts was on point. Our place was so clean. It really felt like such a treat staying here! Its been a tough year and this little break away was exactly what we needed, staying at the lodge just put the cherry on the cake. It really did feel special. 10/10 on every level. Cannot wait to come again.

What a wonderful place! The pre-arrival information was excellent as were the directions etc! We had a message on the day to say it was ready early for us which was great! It’s dog friendly so meant we could take our two dogs with us too! On arrival we were really pleased, the site was silent, the views from the lodge over the lake were beautiful, the lodge was immaculate, it was incredibly homely and comfortable, the hot tub was great, the bedroom was very comfy (also with great views) and we had everything we needed! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you might need and more, and the lovely gift basket was incredibly kind! We had a lovely few days in total peace and quiet, we were really able to switch off and enjoy a restful break! Clearly Geoff had a wonderful vision, and Olwen has carried that on beautifully! Thank you!
