The kitchen was very well equipped , and the 2 lounges were lovely with plenty of room if you had a family. Bedrooms had plenty of storage and the beds were very comfortable so all in all we were very pleased. It was an AGA cooker which operated the heating and cooking and we had to ask for tuition as we’d never used one before ! Owner was very friendly and welcoming and was more than happy to advise on places to go to if required. Would definitely recommend it as a delightful place to stay.

Cae Glas is situated in a private and tranquil location with a large driveway. The house is very spacious with two large living / sitting rooms, a large well equipped kitchen and three large bedrooms, the master bedroom being huge. All the beds were extremely comfortable. The utility room also houses a large freezer and the dishwasher. The house was very warm, thanks to the Stanley Range in the kitchen, and Gareth kindly took time to explain its workings to us and was very informative about the island. Yes, the floorboards were noisy but we accepted this as being part of the character of this lovely house. The large garage houses a full size table tennis table and darts board which we found extremely useful on a rainy day. We have stayed in many properties on Anglesey and Cae Glas is certainly one to which we will return.

We’ve just spent an amazing week there and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Nearby places we visited included Cefni Reservoir, Plas Newyd House, South Stack Lighthouse, Portmeirion, Penrhyn Castle, Penmon Lighthouse, Snowdon, Parys Mountain and Red Wharf Bay. The owners are super friendly and attentive and very knowledgeable about the local area. Would recommend 100%!
