Enrich your knowledge of the local area further by visiting the National Trust property of Plas Newydd House and Gardens, which is set in parkland and surrounded woodland, offering a leisurely stroll. During the summer months, take a scenic drive to Newborough Beach and laze on the glorious sands whilst admiring the views of Snowdonia National Park before walking to Llanddwyn Island, home to St. Dwynwen, the Welsh patron saint of lovers. If you are feeling adventurous, travel to Holyhead and hop on board a ferry, taking you to Dublin for the day, exploring the miles of walking routes upon the Snowdonia National Park. Llanfairpwll is a small village resting on the Isle of Anglesey, often known as Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrnd robwllllantysiliogogogoch, famous for being the longest place name in Europe which translates into St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the fierce whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave". Within the village you will a good selection of amenities and is within close reach of the Menai Straits.
