The cottage is part of Llwynonn Farm, dating back to 1857 and the home farm for Plas Llwynonn, the neighbouring country house built by Lady Willoughby de Broke in the same year, Llwynonn Farm was then acquired by the family of Plas Newydd around the turn of the 20th Century and provides perfect holiday accommodation and a great base for a couple, friends or a family from which to explore the beautiful island of Anglesey, North Wales. Converted from part of the old stables this stunning cottage has been completely renovated and is deceptively spacious once inside and is full of charm and character with oak internal doors and exposed beams. The open plan living accommodation is warm and welcoming with a dining area and a sitting area with a sumptuous corner sofa, providing comfy seating for everyone, completed by a wonderful wood burning stove, perfect for those cooler evenings. The lovely kitchen area has been individually designed by Buxton Woodwork's and has a breakfast bar and is fully fitted, extremely well-equipped and fully integrated, catering for all your needs. The ground floor bathroom is modern and well-appointed with lovely detailed tiling. Upstairs are two delightful bedrooms, both with sloping ceilings and exposed beams and timbers, the main bedroom boasts a king-size double bed with a twin bedroom just across the landing, all are hypnos mattresses perfect for a great nights sleep. Outside this lovely cottage are front and rear, enclosed garden areas, both with furniture and providing a lovely area to sit out and enjoy an early morning cuppa. The renowned tourist attractions of Anglesey Sea Zoo together with the award winning Marram Grass Restaurant, located very close to Llanddwyn Beach and Newborough Warren, are only a short drive from Llwyn Onn and the Snowdonia mountains are easily accessible to explore and enjoy. The Isle of Anglesey boasts numerous other attractions, including the historic town of Beaumaris with it’s Castle built by Edward I, and offers wonderful coastal walks and cycling routes with many miles of stunning beaches to explore. This wonderful cottage provides a great base to enjoy your holiday or weekend break away anytime of the year.

Affectionately known by the locals as Llanfair PG, the Anglesey village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrnd robwllllantysiliogogogoch, also known by its shortened name of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll has the longest place name in Europe. It was artificially named back in 1860 as a publicity stunt for the railway station and translates from Welsh as "St Mary's church in the hollow of the white hazel near to the fierce whirlpool and the church of St Tysilio of the red cave". Situated close to the Menai Straits, just off the Britannia Bridge, Llanfair PG has much to offer families. After having your photo taken next to the village nameplate at the railway station, head into the popular visitors centre for local tourist information. A short walk past the octagonal Toll House, towards Menai Bridge, will bring you to the Marquis of Anglesey statue and column which, for a small fee, you can climb the 115 steps to the top for superb views of the countryside and coastline. Nelson’s Monument can be easily reached on the banks of the Menai Straits, passing St Mary’s Church on the way. With several good pubs with restaurants, craft and gift shops and cafes, plus the beautiful Anglesey coastline within walking distance, there is plenty to entertain you all year round.
