Access to the property is gained through the rear garden, located just to the side of the car park, and featuring a large lawned area where your four legged friends can roam free, as well as a patio with a picnic bench, so you can enjoy a tipple in the beautifully maintained setting with your loved ones after a busy day exploring the delights of the area. Step over the threshold and into the porchway, offering handy storage space for your muddy boots and walking gear, before continuing through the hallway to the pint-sized kitchen/diner, traditionally designed with wooden worktops and featuring all of the amenities necessary to prepare a heartwarming meal that you can enjoy gathered around the dining table with the group. After an action packed day, head into the sitting room to unwind, nestling into the plush sofa to enjoy a spot of television, heating the room with the warmth of the rustic woodburning stove in the colder evenings. As the night draws to a close, head upstairs where you have the choice between the triple bunk room or the double room, rustically decorated with an antique sliding wooden door and both featuring a light and airy décor, offering a welcoming ambiance to rest your head. Wake up to the sun streaming through the windows and head downstairs to prepare for another action packed day by jumping in the shower in the family bathroom for a revitalising rinse. Put down the oven gloves and head into the centre of Newborough for a bite to eat at the village's 200-year-old pub, The White Lion, serving up fresh local produce, followed by a wander to the nearby archaeological site of Llys Rhosyr, home to the ruins of a pre-Edwardian commotal court. Travel to the nearby village of Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, where there are many more eateries to choose from, as well as shopping opportunities including the James Pringle Weavers department store. The town boasts plenty of sights to visit, including the Horatio Nelson Memorial Statue, overlooking the shores of the Menai Straits and commemorating the Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson who died at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805 as well as Caeau Glan-y-mor, a beautifully landscaped National Trust nature reserve offering scenic views across to the Menai Suspension Bridge and the Pont Britannia bridge that border it. Make sure to stop at the railway station for an obligatory photo with the "Llanfair­pwllgwyngyll­gogery­chwyrn­drobwll­llan­tysilio­gogo­goch" sign on the platform, representing the longest place name in Europe. Head further afield to the nearby seaside town of Beaumaris to enjoy a refreshing dip in the waters of the Menai Strait or a leisurely stroll along the pier, indulging in a portion of fish and chips from Dockshack. The small village of Newborough, spelt Niwbwrch in Welsh, is located in the south-western corner of the Isle of Anglesey, lying on the edge of the nearby forests and dunes and a stone's throw away from the golden sand of Traeth Llanddwyn. The village homes a selection of pubs and cafes along with a local convenience store, stocking the essentials that you made need during a staycation. There's a host of heritage to discover in the town, including Ebeneser Chapel and Llys Rhosyr, the ruins of a pre-Edwardian commotal court.
