About this property

Close to the centre of Benllech, boasting views of Benllech Bay and Red Wharf bay, is 11A Lon Twrcelyn, a beautifully presented, detached bungalow, close to the amenities and attractions of Benllech. This contemporary-style, recently refurbished property provides all-ground-floor, high-quality accommodation for a family or group wanting to escape to a relaxing retreat, with the coastline and countryside of North Wales within easy reach. The driveway provides ample parking for four cars and a lovely wrap-around lawn can be found to the front and side of the property, where you can also get a glimpse of the lovely sea views. Step inside the property to find a stylish décor, with shades of greys and whites throughout, complimented by laminate and parquet flooring, as well as fantastic splashes of colour courtesy of a display of wonderful paintings, created by local artist Janet Bell. This impressive property offers two seating areas; one beside the newly fitted, sleek kitchen, which benefits from an inviting sofa and flatscreen TV, while the kitchen offers a range of appliances to enable you to cook up a storm, along with a utilty with a washing machine, should you wish to clean up any sandy clothes from a day at the beach. Meals can be enjoyed in the living/dining room, which boasts a large dining table for the whole group, as well as a seating area and a 65" 4K Smart TV, ideal for a cosy movie night, while the dual aspect windows showcase the best of the views. When it's time to catch some rest, you can find two spacious double bedrooms, with the master offering a flatscreen TV and fitted wardrobes, while the twin bedroom is ideal for younger guests. Start each new day with a refreshing rinse in the walk-in shower found in the shower room, while the family bathroom showcases a bath with shower over, should you prefer a long and relaxing soak. Spend time in the enclosed back garden, where an elevated decking area boasts a seating area and barbecue, as well as a luxurious hot tub, both of which are covered by parasols, so can be enjoyed whatever the weather and will be sure to provide a memorable end to each day of your stay. Wander into the centre of Benllech to discover a host of shops, pubs and restaurants, while the popular sandy beach is also within walking distance and provides a wonderful, family-friendly day out. Lined by cafés and shops, you can enjoy lunch with a view, or pack up a picnic and enjoy it in the picnic area just to the side of the beach. For a more secluded beach day, venture to Red Wharf Bay, just a mile and a half away, where you can look out for fascinating birdlife too. The village of Moelfre is within easy reach, where you can grab a delicious ice cream and stroll along the harbour, before spending some time exploring the RNLI Lifeboat Station. Explore Anglesey further by joining the coastal path, where you can find the magnificent beaches and rocky coves of Rhosneigr and Trearddur Bay, which are perfect for watersports and surfing, while South Stack Lighthouse RSPB Reserve is a wildlife lover's dream. Beaumaris will impress history lovers, with its magnificent 13th century castle and Old Court House Museum, while animal lovers can hop on a boat to Puffin Island to discover puffins, guillemots, razorbills and kittiwakes. From here, you are within easy reach of mainland Wales via the Menai Strait, where you can find the university town of Bangor and the Snowdonia National Park, brimming with walking, hiking and cycling opportunities, including the challenge of climbing Wales' highest peak, Snowdon.

Benllech rests on the eastern shores of the Isle of Anglesey, boasting a wonderful sandy beach, which is very popular with families. There is a variety of shops and cafés that front the beach, with a picnic area to the side, whilst the village centre boasts more shops, pubs, hotels and restaurants.
