About this property

Benllech 1.6 miles. Settled in the village of Brynteg in Anglesey, just a short drive away from a beach, is this tastefully-furnished home, Y Ty Pren. Enjoying a large lawn for basking in the sun and a Juliet balcony, this semi-detached property is ideal for a small family or four friends. Leave your vehicle in an off-road parking space before stepping inside to find the well-appointed kitchen, hosting an electric oven and hob to conjure hearty meals. Stepping through your home-from-home, locate the living/dining room, bathed in natural light from the patio doors; here you can unwind on the plush sofa with a cup of tea in hand and let the Smart TV do the entertaining. Gather at the dining table to tuck-into a feast and if the sun is shining throw open the patio doors and have an alfresco affair out on the outdoor furniture. After an action-packed day, make use of the washer/dryer in the utility room before standing in the shower for a hot rinse or why not relax your muscles in the family bathroom? When eyes grow tired, choose between two stylish bedrooms, a king-sized bed with a Juliet balcony to watch the sky grow dark and a delightful twin bedroom. Awaken with a steaming cup of coffee out on the lawn and at noon be sure to make use of the barbecue to rustle up tasty snacks. Jump in the car to visit the village of Benllech, where you can enjoy a stroll on the sandy beach with an ice cream in hand and savour the views from a beachfront café. Y Ty Pren is an excellent base for family-fun with Pili Palas Nature World to get up close to insects and meerkats, Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens for a quaint picnic and the grand country house of Plas Newydd. For the Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, venture to Red Wharf Bay, home to a sandy beach to unwind with a good book and a selection of restaurants to fuel your day. For a special escape to Anglesey choose Y Ty Pren.

Benllech features a lovely, long, sandy beach that is popular with families, with a slipway for convenient access. A picnic area and a variety of stores and cafés along the beach, while the village centre has more shops, pubs, hotels, and restaurants. The hamlet itself is perfect for family holidays, while the rural location gives serenity and easy access to the coast, rural Anglesey, and, of course, the beautiful Snowdonia mountains.

The only issue, and we note that people have had the same issue before us according to the guest book, is that the hot water is very unreliable. We understand that its solar powered and that there's an electric shower downstairs but my wife needs a powerful shower to do her hair and stop it from getting tangled and all electric showers lose a lot of power when the water is warmer obviously so we wanted to use the proper shower. For the last 2 days we had zero hot water. The sun was out (in fact one day was glorious) but it wasn't working clearly. That didn't really matter too much, it was still a fantastic house but wanted to let you know. We would definitely come again as there was nothing it was missing. Thank you!

A few recommendations; 1. Mop and bucket for floor 2. More than one tea-towel 3. A hot water system that actually delivers hot water.

Such a clean and pristine house with 99% of items you could ever need. In a great spot for exploring the island being only a mile out of Benllech. Only feedback I would give the owner is that you need a full size brush so you can brush the floor in the lounge and the kitchen. Otherwise perfect.
