Reviewers consistently mention the spotless condition of the cottage, highlighting its cleanliness as a standout feature. The meticulous attention to cleanliness contributes to the overall positive experience.

The cottage's location is generally appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to beaches and local amenities. However, a few guests noted the lack of nearby facilities within walking distance and the need to drive to attractions, slightly affecting the score.

The majority of guests find the cottage comfortable, with cosy furnishings and a warm atmosphere. Some guests, however, mention that the beds could be improved, which slightly lowers the comfort score.

The thoughtfulness of the owners is frequently commended, with mentions of dog-friendly features and baby products. While gifts are not explicitly mentioned, the provision of essentials and extras indicates a high level of consideration for guests' needs.

About this property

A delightful, end-terrace stone cottage in the hamlet of Llanfaethlu that has been lovingly renovated and styled by its current owners. The owners really do an excellent job of making sure their property is ready for when guests arrive. Have to say this is I think the best property we have stayed in for some time, this was our 3rd visit, already booked for next year. Location is peaceful with not much passing traffic or people, making it ideal for a lovely restful break, just what you need. Only minutes away from Valley, Penrhos Coastal Park, ideal situation for exploring the island

A very comfy, cosy place to stay with all sorts of little details thought about and well furnished especially if you are taking your 4 legged friend with you. Beautiful views from every window of the cottage, and a very peaceful setting make for a very relaxing stay here.

The sofas starts becoming uncomfortable after sitting on them for 20 minutes. Had to leave after the first day as neither of us could of endured another minute on the sofa. Luckily husband's backache went after a day mine took several days to ease. We expected a garden at the back of property but its its just the stoned side of the house for parking. So no privacy & yet again uncomfortable sitting. So didn't use.The area is quiet but unfortunately no pathway to walk the dog.You would have to walk on the road.Upstairs very compact. Can honestly say it was the worst experience of a holiday let.The 3 hour journey on the way home was more comfortable. A lot of expense for one night !
