About this property

Located on the outskirts of Dulas upon the Isle of Anglesey is Ty Arwen, a fabulous, four-bedroom home inviting eight guests; two well-behaved dogs are also welcomed. Enjoying breath-taking views of Lligwy Bay and a proximity to the shoreline, Ty Arwen offers a contemporary base for a family break, complete with an enclosed garden, stylish living space, and flexible sleeping arrangements. Benefit from ample off-road parking before entering the home and its well-equipped kitchen/diner; here you can rustle up delectable meals to be enjoyed around the table for eight or opt for an alfresco affair upon the rear patio area. Be greeted into the homely sitting room, complete with a rustling woodburning stove and plush seating, where you can unwind with the TV on in the backdrop. Locate four well-appointed bedrooms, each with a unique theme, including 'Fish', a ground-floor twin (zip/link), 'Map', a double with en-suite shower room, 'Man's Best Friend', a further double, and 'Maritime', a twin, all offering space to unwind and catch some rest. Refresh in the bathroom or ground-floor shower room, before heading to either Traeth Lligwy, or Traeth Y Ora for a seaside stroll. Travel to Beaumaris for a day out, with the chance to ramble across Beaumaris Pier, tour Beaumaris Castle, and stroll across the shoreline with a bag of fish and chips in hand. Continue to further attractions including Pili Palas Nature World, and Plas Cadnant Hidden Gardens, perfect for all the family, or venture further into mainland North Wales to tour Llandudno, its promenade, and the Great Orme landmark. Round off your getaway in Snowdonia National Park, worth packing your walking boots for, returning home to Ty Arwen for sundowners. Experience a seascape at Ty Arwen.

On Anglesey's East Coast, Dulas is a small village resting next to Lligwy Beach. Take in the sights of the bay and Dulas Island as you meander along the coastal route. Dogs are welcome at Lligwy Beach year-round, whilst beachgoers can enjoy visit to the beachfront café. The old fishing village of Moelfre and the beach at Llaneilian are also only a short drive away. After a stroll along the beachfront walkway, sample the locally created fare at one of the cafés or pubs.

We stayed over the Xmas period & had a lovely stay (despite the awful weather!) The summerhouse that is partially built will be a great addition to this property especially in the warmer weather. Would definitely recommend.

We were blessed with really good weather and enjoyed walking our two dogs on Lligwy beach. Benllech is only 3 miles away with a great beach and shops. The property is spacious with open plan lounge kitchen and dining area. The kitchen was well equiped the bedrooms comfortable and the rear garden view amazing. We would love to return to Ty Arwen.

I hadn’t realised that the garden wasn’t fully secure for the dogs (my fault) but I bought a ground stake and two training leads and problem solved! The dogs had their freedom and I didn’t have to keep taking them out in the rain for a wee ☺️ We explored many new beaches and areas that we hadn’t been to before and Ty Arwen is in a great location for doing this. I would say check the tide times! It’s a steep hill back to Ty Arwen from Lligwy beach but if you’re fit it’s no problem and if not there is a generous car park! It’s a great beach to have on the doorstep. The house had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. It’s very quiet and peaceful. We had an issue with the carbon monoxide monitor at 2am but Gwyn answered our call and we were soon sorted! I made a boo-boo and thought I had booked an extra night (I’ve never done that before sorry!) but the cleaning staff were amazing and we managed to get out just half an hour later than intended. We really appreciated this and weren’t made to feel bad! We then went down the road to the beach at Benllech and waited for the gluten free fish and chip shop to open before setting off home. Even the sun came out! Dogs happy. Daughter and I happy. Many thanks
