About this property

Pen-Lon 3.4 miles. Set in the peaceful village of Malltraeth on the Isle of Anglesey is this splendid five-bedroom house, Tywod Pell. Boasting views of the Snowdonia mountain tops and a wonderful garden, perfect for spending the summer months in, this property is suited to a large family or two smaller families looking to get together and discover the delights of Anglesey. Arriving at the property with its ample off-road parking, unpack your car before stepping into your home away from home. From the hallway, make your way to the kitchen/diner to whip up delicious meals for your family to enjoy as a group at the stylish dining table; the kitchen hosts an electric range double oven and hob, along with a large fridge/freezer and a handy dishwasher to help with the cleaning up. From here, climb the stairs to the first floor and relax in the sitting room while the open fire creates a warm space around you. The sitting room is home to two plush sofas and a TV, providing a homely space in which to unwind after a day of exploring your surroundings. As the evening rolls in, head off to the bedrooms to rest your eyes; back on the ground floor you will find two well-presented double bedrooms and a twin, ideal for a multi generational family. The first floor hosts the two remaining bedrooms including a king-size with a cot and a final twin room accessed via the sitting room, giving your group ample sleeping quarters for your stay. Guests will also benefit from a shower room and a ground-floor bathroom, where you can freshen up and prepare for another adventurous day out. Take advantage of the fantastic outdoor space at the house; the garden is made up of a large lawn with a climbing frame and swings to keep your younger guests entertained, as well as, a gravelled area with dining furniture and a barbecue, so you can take your dining experience al fresco. Completing this fabulous property are the stunning panoramic views over to the Snowdonia mountain range in the distance. For days out while staying at Tywod Pell head out to the coast for a day at Traeth Llanddwyn beach, a gorgeous sandy beach boasting even more spectacular views over Snowdonia. For a spot of culture during your stay, the Anglesey Model Village & Café is a short car journey away and offers a charming small-scale model of the picturesque town, and you can also stop for tea and cake before you leave. Animal lovers and younger members of your group will enjoy a day at the Anglesey Sea Zoo, home to over 150 species for you to discover. Further afield, admire the vast open sea from South Stack Lighthouse; built in 1809 the lighthouse is popular among tourists for its location at the tip of the rugged isle. If you are looking for more of a thrill while on holiday, venture into the Snowdonia National Park, where you can try your hand at some watersports on the stunning lakes, including kayaking and paddle boarding, or perhaps conquer the largest mountain in Wales, Snowdon, before heading back to the house for some rest. Whatever your style of adventure, Tywod Pell is the perfect base for a memorable family holiday to North Wales, year after year.
