This cottage was absolutely beautiful and perfectly located for exploring Beaumaris, whether on foot or by car. It’s full of character and offers plenty of privacy, making it a truly relaxing stay. The property had everything we needed, and Stuart was a fantastic, attentive host throughout. We especially loved the cosy log burner, and the beds were incredibly comfortable — we all slept so well. The nearby church is also stunning and adds to the charm of the area.We would highly recommend this cottage and would love to return soon.

We had such a lovey stay at The Smithy. The house had so much character and felt very cosy. Perfect for a cold, and occasionally wet, week in February! There’s a great summary of the history of the house and local area in the welcome folder. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. The lounge was lovely and spacious, but still very cosy with the log burner lit. We used the downstairs bedroom which is a great size, really comfortable bed, and lovely big shower. The upstairs bedrooms all looked spacious and comfortable too. The house was really well situated for dog walks from the door and Stuart and Russ both had loads of great recommendations. They were also really responsive to any enquiries we had. Beaumaris is an easy walk away and has plenty of shops and eateries. We even had red squirrels darting around the back garden, along with plenty of bird life. . Lovely to see. The Smithy is a special place and we would highly recommend.
