Be welcomed into the open-plan living space, sure to be the social hub during your stay, where you can look forward to whipping up flavourful meals for your guests in the fully-functioning kitchen, with gas hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. Settle down to tuck-in to the fruits of your labour at the dining table for three, as you uncork a bottle of wine and toast to a wonderful getaway. After a satisfying meal, retreat to the sofa, where you can curl up in front of your favourite film on the TV, whilst basking in the warmth of the electric fire. If you’re not ready for the evening to end, why not savour evening drinks out on the private decking, or head down to the larger enclosed garden where the conversation can flow in the glow of the fire pit. As the evening cools, treat yourself to a toasty shower, before popping on fresh pyjamas and heading to catch your rest in one of two well-presented bedrooms, a double with en-suite cloakroom and a single. Wake-up and blow away the cobwebs with a wander into the local village, where you will find a convenience store, ideal for picking up any last-minute essentials for an indulgent evening feast, the fascinating ruins of Castell Aberlleiniog and the lush nature reserve of Tir Comin Llangoed, perfect for a leisurely stroll whilst spotting the local wildlife. Just a mile away is the sandy and shingle beach of Traeth Lleiniog, with superb views of Snowdonia and a delightful picnic area where you can soak up the views before beachcombing the shores. For a wider selection of amenities, head to the historic town of Beaumaris, here you can visit the World Heritage 13th-century Beaumaris Castle which overlooks the Menai Strait, delve into history at The Old Court House Museum followed by a trip to the gaol where you can tour the Victorian prison which houses punishment cells, or embark on the Seacoast Safari which will take you to the scenic Puffin Island. Just a little further is the Menai Bridge which will take you over to the city of Bangor, home to a former Roman Camp and the magnificent National Trust site of Penrhyn Castle and Garden.     From cleaning material bin liners towels. Even milk in fridge butter lovely Welsh cakes. Visited all the places we wanted go including Porthmadog. Betsy coed and so on. Weather needed dodging. And we did recommend. Had a great time. Robert & Jean
