Blue Sails (ref JPV) is a traditional Welsh holiday cottage with its own garden enjoying a magnificent setting in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, right on the seashore, with waves sometimes lapping against the patio walls, and glorious views of Puffin Island and Snowdonia. The Beach House (ref OHM) lies in a secluded setting, with direct access to the beach (via a few steps) and panoramic views across the Menai Straits to the Snowdonia mountains. This single-storey Scandinavian-style pine lodge is set to the right of Blue Sails. It has a large garden (not fully enclosed) and visitors may enjoy sightings of many species of seabirds, porpoises and even the occasional seal.
Beaumaris (2 miles), a World Heritage Site, is Anglesey’s most attractive town; it has a castle, boat trips to Puffin Island, water sports facilities, shops, restaurants and excellent inns.Bangor 8 miles. Beach 1 mile.

Fourth time visiting Blue Sails but first time during the summer! This home is amazing, spacious for 6 people but cosy too, clean, everything you need for a week's stay (never long enough!), comfy beds and the best views ever 😍 within easy walking distance to Beaumaris (about 2 miles along the beach) which has cute little cafes, deli, bars, ice-cream parlour, gift & vintage shops and a Castle! Recommend The Pilot House at Penmon, delicious burgers, ice cream and cocktails plus a Lighthouse - walking distance from Cottage but because of tides, best drive there or plan your return journey to match the tides 😆 Great place to play on the beach and. In the sea, literally on your doorstep.

Where can we start with Blue Sails! What an amazing place. People walking past called it paradise… not far off . Just perfect location, the good weather helped, we sat and watched the beach and tides all week. Didn’t need to venture anywhere else. The dog was in his element and so were the humans. Great facilities, comfy beds and the best view in Anglesey. Perfect

Absolutely stunning location. I’ve booked again for next year. The most relaxing, feel good, lazy holiday we’ve ever had. We come to Anglesey every year for a week and walk the coastal path for miles and miles. This time we literally only walked the beach daily as we couldn’t tear ourselves away from the patio and the amazing view. I cannot recommend this highly enough. The photos on the website do not do this property justice.
