The most beautiful sunrises may be seen in Beaumaris, a well-known ancient town on the Isle of Anglesey that is situated on the Menai Strait and overlooks the Snowdonia mountain range. It is also well-known as a significant hub for sailing, with its Edward I-era mediaeval castle (now a World Heritage site) and Victorian pier, jail, and courthouse. With a long history, Beaumaris still has a lot of its original mediaeval street layout. The town's environment, diversity of architectural styles and eras, variable scale, open spaces, different roofing, and overall quality all play a significant role in the character of the community. In addition to a golf course close by, the town offers a good assortment of stores, eateries, and bars, as well as options for boat trips and fishing. Red Wharf Bay, also known as Traeth Coch (Red Beach), is a sizable bay along the coast that is well-known for its spectacular sunsets. Due to the bay's extreme shallowness, approximately 25 square kilometres (10 square miles) of sand are exposed at low tide, making it safe for swimming, excellent for family outings, fishing, and miles of breathtakingly beautiful hikes. The port of Holyhead, farther away, has frequent ferry connections to Dublin. Beaumaris is a great starting point for seeing Wales because of its ideal location on the south coast of the charming Isle of Anglesey and proximity to the magnificent Snowdonia mountains.

The heaters worked well and made the property cosy. In addition there was a wood burning stove. Quality of furnishings was good and the kitchen was well equipped. For our winter break it was in a peaceful spot and parking in the village was not a problem. Easy access to all parts of the island.

Lovely comfy beds with great quality linen and thick fluffy towels. A little haven with with no road noise or traffic and relaxing views of flowers and trees from all windows. We were very very grateful for the little treats left for us - Welsh cakes, bottle of wine, milk and teabags. Most welcome after our long journey. The games room was great fun when we arrived back from our days out. We had a very happy few days here and would definitely stay again and recommend to friends. The only things to mention - duvet in main bedroom was a little too warm for this time of year (easily sorted). and a socket close to a mirror for hair drying would be useful. Also think it’s important to mention that there is no door to the attic bedroom - just from a noise point of view. Turning the hot water on and off under the kitchen sink is a little inconvenient but we were asked to do this in the cottage instructions so we did. A lovely, happy and relaxing holiday - thank you.
