In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the northern tip of Anglesey, Llanfechell is a tiny community that is 1.5 miles from Cemaes Bay. The nearby 12th-century Mechell Church, which has been expanded over the years and is said to be the location of St. Mechell's burial, is where the village derives its name. The area is well-liked by geologists and archaeologists because of the rock formations at Mechell Mountain and the numerous ancient monuments dispersed about, some of which are said to be among the oldest in the world. The ancient Parys Mountain copper mines, with their lunar-like scenery, are seven miles away.

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed, the owners even helped me out by taking a food delivery order in prior to us arriving which was a massive help! The only thing worth mentioning was that we couldnât really use the hot tub on the first night as the temperature was too cold but this was fine to use for our second day. We will definitely return, such a beautifully refurbished property and in a private setting!

you could possibly need. Huge, comfy beds and great walk in showers, definitely 5 star accommodation. The boot room was enormous and secure which was a priority for us as we were travelling with our bikes.

The property was extremely clean and high standard. I would liked to have seen some fairy lights around the top of the hot tub just for an added romantic feel but other than that couldnât fault it.
