Nestling on the north-east corner of the Isle of Anglesey, Amlwch Port, a small seaside village, has a shop and a pub, as well as being part of the Heritage Cooper Trail, part of Anglesey's coastal path, where you can uncover the past as you delve into the history of the village and its copper mining traditions. There is golf in the area, and also fishing, plus numerous sandy beaches dotted around the coast of the island. You may even fancy hopping on a ferry to take a day trip over to the vibrant Irish city of Dublin.
