A detached house, with spacious rooms and in the excellent location of Amlwch, a northern town in Anglesey, Minera is a delightful place to spend time with your friends or family. Let the Amlwch community welcome you in, being situated on one of the main roads, there is easy access to the coast and to nearby towns, perfect for families looking to have some great days out. After coming back from a brilliant but tiring day outdoors, you can head into the spacious sitting room, filled with plush furniture to fall onto, and why not switch the TV on to watch some family favourites for a movie night in. Make sure to save at least one evening for cooking up a family meal together in the modern renovated kitchen, take advantage of the open-plan layout by watching over the cooking with a glass of wine, and enjoy a delicious dish in what will feel like your own private restaurant! When the night draws to a close, head upstairs to the excellent bedrooms, with three to choose from; a king-size double, and two twin rooms which is the perfect set-up for most families or groups of friends. Serving these rooms is the family bathroom which is a great place to wind down when you want a bit of relaxation time, treat yourself to a long soak in the tub, but don't worry if you're in a hurry; there is a shower over the bath too. On a hot day, head outside to the patio for some alfresco dining or sunbathe on the lawn in your own private space to get the most out of the summer sun. A popular activity in the area would be over at the Bull Bay Golf club, where you can try out the 18-hole course, regarded by many as one of the best in North Wales, and the host of a number of championships throughout the year, they will offer a warm welcome to anyone. The Copper Kingdom Centre based in Amlwch Port tells the story of how this small corner of Wales was at one time producing more copper than any other mine in the world, with copper mined at Parys Mountain being taken to Amlwch Port where it was then shipped around the world. Within an easy driving distance of just under 9-miles, is the town of Benllech where you will find one of the island's most popular beaches, Benllech Beach with fine golden sand and clear blue waters, all very safe for bathing and paddling. Amlwch is one of the most northerly towns in Wales, situated at the head of the isle of Anglesey. Once a bustling hub in its mining heyday and home to nearly 10,000 people along with its three windmills, the town is now much quieter and more like a community. The history is remembered with such things as the Copper Kingdom visitor centre. The town has shops, pubs and cafes and is within easy driving distance to other larger towns such as Benllech.
