About this property

This light and airy, detached Bull Bay cottage boasts breathtaking views over the beach and glistening bay, located in the heart of the village, just 1 mile from Amlwch on the picturesque Anglesey coast. Min Y Traeth, which is Welsh for 'edge of the beach', really lives up to its name, commanding prime position on the waterfront, and has been lovingly refurbished and styled with a nautical coastal theme. This Bull Bay cottage features two lovely ground floor bedrooms with en-suite facilities, a well-equipped kitchen and a welcoming sitting room with porthole windows and sliding patio doors onto a lovely balcony with glass balustrade overlooking the cove, where you can relax in the sunshine, watching the world go by and perhaps even see a porpoise playing in the bay. Benefiting from two pub/restaurants within five minutes' walk, a superb golf course less than a third of a mile away, and a beach with slipway opposite the cottage, this welcoming Bull Bay cottage is perfectly located to enjoy fun-packed days in this beautiful part of Anglesey. The 125 mile Anglesey Coastal Path runs through the village and beckons walkers all year round, while the less energetic can enjoy peaceful days in complete natural beauty, just exploring the local coastline and deserted coves. This is the perfect Bull Bay cottage for friends and families to enjoy all year round.

Situated on the Northern coast of the Isle of Anglesey is the pretty seaside village of Bull Bay. The scenery around Bull Bay is stunning as is the nearby island of East Mouse, which sits within the bay and has rockpools which are perfect for shrimping and crabbing. Bull Bay also offers two hotels with restaurants and bars and a superb golf course. Close to the village is the famous Anglesey Coastal Path and just 1.5 miles away is the small, harbour town of Amlwch which boasts shops, bars and a market every Friday. Nearby is the Parys Mountain, where the Copper Mine Trail Walk is worth a visit. Also within driving distance is the historic town of Beaumaris, which has a stunning 13th century castle, museums, shops, pubs and restaurants. Bull Bay is a perfect base to explore the many attractions, towns and villages Anglesey has to offer.

Only two of us but sleeps four comfortably. Everything we needed is provided in the property. Ideally situated for fishing and coastal path walks. Restaurant a few minutes walk if you don't want to cook. Views of sea and pebble Beach across the road.good road links to everywhere on the island. Cannot fault this property.

The view was spectacular and amazing walks close by. Everything you could need from a holiday home. Loved the little touches from the owners and the children loved the house.

This was our second break here and have already booked for next year. Yes, as has been said previously, could probably do with some new sofas and a king size duvet on the double bed would be good (to stop us restless sleepers enduring a tug- of-war in the night) but Ann and Mike are most gracious hosts and are very willing to offer advice on your stay. The accommodation is spotless and the new kitchen very well equipped. The piece de resistance has to be the view. It really is magical and the sunrises spectacular. Truly a place to unwind and appreciate nature as the cliff path walks are literally on your doorstep. Perhaps I should have given it a bad review, more weeks free for us?!
