A great holiday home near the village centre of Balloch, you can be sure of a fantastic break with family or friends in this lodge. The village is often referred to as the gateway to Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park and has excellent travel links to Glasgow (25 miles). For those who fancy sampling some whiskey, both Auchentoshan (12 miles) and Glengoyne Distillery (16 miles) are worth a visit. Mugdock Country Park has 270 hectares of woodland, heathland and moorland to explore while Xcite is packed with places to eat, drink and play, including a cinema, laser station, ten pin bowling and adventure golf (both attractions within 25 miles). Enter this stylish and spacious property and leave your boots and coats into the hallway. Follow the hall through to the comfortable open plan lounge/diner, ready to chill out on the comfy sofas and enjoy a show on the Smart TV. Dine with your guests around the large table that seats ten. Back through the hallway, you are met with the well equipped kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Open the French doors to let the outside in while sitting at the breakfast table. Next is the lovely double bedroom, and finally, completing the ground floor is a shower room with shower and WC. Head up the stairs and you will find three light and bright bedrooms: one king size and one twin, both with en suite shower rooms, and a double. Venturing outside there is a communal pathway running along the back of the courtyard, across from this is an enclosed patio area tastefully created to reflect comfort and privacy with your own hot tub, bespoke gazebo with seating and charcoal BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining. Please note that the hot tub is only available from 10am 10pm daily. There is ample parking at the front of the property in the courtyard. Need to know: 4 bedrooms 1 king size, 2 doubles and 1 twin. 3 bathrooms 1 shower room and WC, and 2 en suite shower rooms and WC.
