Leven Lodge 2 is praised for its excellent location near Loch Lomond, offering a peaceful and idyllic setting ideal for relaxation and walks. Guests appreciate the cosy, homely atmosphere and the welcoming hosts. However, some concerns about maintenance and cleanliness slightly mar the experience.
Cleanliness has been flagged as an issue, with reports of dirty bathroom floors, stained sheets and towels, and cobwebs. However, not all reviews mention cleanliness problems, suggesting experiences may vary.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to Loch Lomond and the peaceful environment, making it perfect for walks and relaxation.
Comfort receives mixed reviews. While the lodge is described as cosy and homely, there are complaints about uncomfortable and squeaky beds, sofas, and poor heating, indicating room for improvement.
Facilities and maintenance issues are noted, including electrical problems, poor lighting, inadequate kitchen equipment, and hot tub concerns. These detract from the overall experience.
There is no mention of gifts or special attention to guest needs beyond basic provisions, so it is not possible to assess thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score is set to null.

Excellent location and pleasant lodge. The hot tub at Lodge 2 appears to have been installed the wrong way round, as the controls are at the back. Also, we had an electrical issue with the external lights that wasn’t resolved, but overall a nice break.

The lodge was beautiful, it was very idyllic & a stones throw away from the loch. We had a lovely time, so did our pooch Kobe, he loved swimming in the loch & we are planning to go back next year & hopefully every year after that as it was a stunning place to recharge the batteries & we settled in so easily on the first night.
