  • About the space

Munro Cabin is a super-stylish cabin set in the stunning Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Its contemporary Scandi style is smart, sleek and skilfully blends retro-style pieces of furniture and tactile accessories, with modern comfort, a designer log burner, high end attention to detail and a fresh, neutral colour palette. Natural light floods in from huge windows that also capture stunning views. Munro Cabin is the perfect place for a sophisticated Scottish countryside escape.

    The space

Step inside Munro Cabin, into the entrance hallway, and you will find a utility room equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer – the perfect spot to dump mucky fleeces and the like after a long day spent walking in the hills.

Along the hallway are three generously-sized bedrooms. The master bedroom has a super king size bed, as well as bedside tables with reading lights, wardrobe space, a vanity area, armchairs and a coffee table, with a view of the Ben More burn waterfall just outside the window. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath with a shower over.

Also off the ground floor hallway are two more spacious bedrooms, one with twin single beds and the other with a king size bed, both have an en-suite shower room.

For maximum comfort all beds have a 2000 spring, pocket sprung mattress with a Cashmere top and Egyptian cotton bed linen. Plus, the ground floor features underfloor heating with separate thermostat controls in each room.

The upstairs floor can be accessed by either the bespoke beech staircase, or a lift, and is where you will find the fourth bedroom which has a king size bed and an en-suite shower room.

Also upstairs is the open plan living, dining and kitchen area which really has the ‘wow factor’ with its views and decor. A striking black kitchen with granite worktops, twin sinks with a ‘Quooker’ boiling water tap and all mod cons, is adjacent to a matching black dining table that can seat up to 10 people.

The area flows seamlessly in an ‘L’ shape to the lounge area which has two distinct spaces. The first has large sofas and a 65″ LED Smart TV with online facilities and Blu Ray DVD, while the other seating area is more of a snug with a wood burner and a glass frontage and patio door with views of Ben More, the waterfall and Glen Dochart.

    Guest access

Guests are invited to check-in remotely before travelling and will receive full directions on how to reach the property. On arrival at Munro Cabin there is a private car parking area, from here a tiled ramp leads to the triple glazed front door.

    Sustainability

Munro Cabin features a central heating and hot water system that is supplied by an air source heat pump and controlled by a digital thermostat, whilst all windows throughout the property are triple-glazed. The privately-owned estate on which the cabin is located attracts plenty of wildlife including deer, pine martens and red squirrels, whilst bird feeders are positioned around the grounds to attract feathered friends. Guests are encouraged to recycle their food waste to make compost to be used on the estate and thanks to the tree adoption scheme you can even have a tree planted in your name.
