Tweedford cottage was wonderful. The location is quite remote, accessed via a farm track, but we loved the location with views across the River Tweed to the hills beyond. The cottage is situated around 8 - 9 miles from both Biggar and Peebles, both of which had good shops and facilities. The cottage itself was lovely. We had a kitchen with a small lounge, the large sunroom (where we spent most of time at the cottage), two bedrooms and a beautiful bathroom. It was perfect and we would love to come back on a future holiday. There was plenty to see and do while staying at the cottage - Dawyck Gardens, Kailzie Gardens, the Gasworks museum in Biggar, the Halliwell House Museum in Selkirk, the Lead Mining Museum at Wanlockhead, the Great Scottish Tapestry at Galashiels, and the town of Moffat.
